The aim of the training was to enhance the knowledge, skills, and experiences of the partners in (1) Staff Training, regarding teaching activities and methodologies; (2) Strategic Planning at Universities; (3) Systemic Governance; and (4) Financial Management. These were in turn the 4 topics defined for the Training Course that combined both theory and practice. In the theoretical session, the topic and the concepts related to it were explained, and in the practical part an exercise, that the Libyan partners should solve, was proposed.

The training was also held online due to remaining pandemic uncertainties, and the average participation rate was around 30 people per class. Participants could join one session or another depending on their professional profile and interests.

The first two topics counted with a greater number of teaching-hours (4h each), divided into two sessions, that took place on the 7th of June and the 9th of June. These sessions were given by the UA’s Professor with the title “Teaching for action: Changing attitudes to promote the Sustainable Development Goals through challenge-based teaching”. The second topic, Strategic Planning, was also conducted by the UA, and the sessions occurred on the 8th and 14th of June

The other topics, (3) Systemic Governance and (4) Financial Management were conducted by the UniGe on the 15th and 16th of June
